We have an exciting teen ministry with many activities and events. Whether it is Teen Sunday School on Sunday mornings, Teens for Christ on Wednesday evenings, or special ministries and fun events, the teens learn to love the Lord, fellowship with other Christians, and minister to others.

God would have even the little children to come to Him so we use many means to reach them and teach them. We have Junior church and Children’s Church on Sunday mornings and Kings Kids on Wednesday evenings where, through teaching and activities, we endeavor to help them learn God’s truths.

The Bus Ministry at NLBC is an outreach ministry of our church and is dedicated to providing much more than just transportation to church. Our faithful and dedicated bus workers have a compassion for children and are committed to the spiritual well-being of our riders and their families.

The learning of God’s Word is critical if we are to serve the Lord effectively. Therefore, a Sunday School exists for each age group where a caring teacher strives to bring the truths of God’s Word to the level of the pupils in the class.

Music is a critical piece of worshiping the Lord. We believe the the purpose of music is not to please man but to please God.

We use special music, a choir, and an orchestra to enable us to produce music pleasing to Him.

The Joy club is a ministry to special needs teens and adults which allows them to have monthly fellowships where they can play together, learn together, and most importantly, to magnify the Lord Jesus Christ through their lives.

The Central Alabama School of the Bible is a Bible training program that helps believers to expand their understanding of the Bible and to be equipped for ministry in the local church. The school is designed for members and workers in local churches, including deacons, Sunday School teachers, youth and children’s workers, Bible study leaders, and many others who simply desire to deepen their Bible knowledge and increase their effectiveness in serving the Lord.

Drive Thru Christmas is our free Annual event each December where we re-enact certain events in the life of Jesus..

You will be able to ride through multiple scenes where actors speak and portray events from Jesus' birth, life, trial and, most importantly, His resurrection. A narrator will also speak between scenes.

Rather than just being TOLD the reason for Christmas, you will see it PORTRAYED in front of you. Everything remains as close to the Biblical account as possible.

We believe in ministering to people both physically and spiritually. Often, helping people physically allows us to also minister to them spiritually. The SALT (Serving Others Together) endeavors to do just that.

Each Wednesday morning, from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM, we distribute food to all in need. Just pull into the car line, fill out some simple paperwork, drive around the building, and friendly workers will load your vehicle with food that has been provided to us.

The Senior Saints are very active at New Life. In addition to our Sunday School class, we have a monthly activity where we are able to fellowship together. Whether it is a picnic, lunch at a local restaurant, an outing to a local museum or a visit to a local attraction, we always have a great time!
